Wieland Moeller started his musical career with the age of 5, playing the violin. Later on he also started to take lessons in piano. Soon he started to write own songs and small compositions. From the age of 11 he started to play the drums. All the lessons he took in Musicschools in Greifswald and Stralsund(Germany). In 2001 Wieland got a scholarship to enter the Berklee College of music, Boston, Massachusetts, for a summer program. There he got lessons from Robert Kaufman. In those years he visited masterclasses with Bruno Castellucci, Keith Copeland, Michael Kuettner,to name some. With the age of 18 Wieland started drumming in the philharmonic orchestra pommerania. He performed musicals like Cabaret, West side story, Hair, Kiss me Kate, filmmusicconcerts and cabaretsshows. From 2003 - 2007 Wieland studied at the Rotterdamse Conservatorium in the netherlands with f.ex. Hans van Oosterhout, Peter Ypma. After his studied he made audition as an orchestra drummer for Princess Cruises and travelled the world. There he played music from Rock'n Roll to Big band Jazz. Now Wieland lives in Rotterdam and does music for dance- and theaterpieces. He plays in bands as the Atostrio, 4 Monos, Noisyristics,etc.. Through the recent years he gained experiences in BigBand music, Jazz, Fusion, classical music, improvised music and music for Dance- and Theatrepieces.
