Ainhoa Miranda clarinet, bass clarinet
(bass)clarinetist, choir conductor, Alexander Technique teacher, member of Insomnio, Schreck Ensemble, Notenkonferenz and co-founder of MUSIKUSVIE, a concept for establishing a new concert format.
After finishing the clarinet studies at “Jesús Guridi Conservatory” (1997, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain), she continued her musical education at “Rotterdams Conservatorium” (1998-2002) with Nancy Braithwaite and Walter Boeykens and at “Conservatorium van Amsterdam” (2002-2006) where she obtained the professional qualification “Master of Music” with distinction in Bass Clarinet and Contemporary Music under the guidance of Harry Sparnaay.
Her disposition towards contemporary music brought her to première pieces for solo bass clarinet as well for ensemble performing in the most representative concert halls for the contemporary music scene in Europe being asked to play with Asko|Schönberg Ensemble, AXYZ Ensemble, The Barton Workshop, Holland Symfonia, Radio Kamerorkest and Ensemble 306.
